Policies promoting fair wages, affordable housing, and accessible healthcare align with these ideals, ensuring a more equitable and prosperous society for all. If the LPPC is elected, below are the issues that we will tackle.

Housing Affordability
The Issue:
Canadians are struggling to find affordable housing as the prices of housing and even rentals are skyrocketing.
Solutions we will put in place:

Invest in the construction of housing units to provide more affordable renting options for low-income families and individuals.

Limit and strengthen rent so tenants are not being forced out of their houses.

Expand rent control to cover more housing types.

Providing stable housing for homeless individuals, this will help address homelessness more.

Offer more financial help to those who can commit to building housing units.

Have more tenant protections and strengthen rights so Canadians are aware they are safe.

Education Costs
The Issue:
Education costs, including post-secondary tuition and fees, has had a significant increase recently, especially with more international students coming to Canada.
Solutions we will put in place:

We will reduce or try to eliminate tuition fees for post-secondary education.

Reduce interest rates on student loans.

Expand affordable to free early childhood education.

Healthcare Costs
The Issue:
Canada’s healthcare costs have been one of the main increases recently.
Solutions we will put in place:

Get more coverage on dental care and prescriptions.

More access to mental health support.

Increase more funding in community support groups.

Expansion of more free public programs.

Have coverage according to families or individuals income.

Invest more into the system and get more workers, nurses and doctors.

Jobs
The Issue:
The cost of living is increasing significantly, including many of our daily essentials, such as food, healthcare and transportation. With all this stress, people are financially struggling. They need more jobs.
Solutions we will put in place:​

A job guarantee program where there are more jobs available.

Expanding more social services so workers are needed.
